It's nice to have a space for entertaining that keeps the mess away from the main kitchen area. Open shelving and glass front drawers add a relaxed feeling to this often used bar area. Adding a wastebasket solution helps keep all bar activity out of the kitchen.

Someone's always hungry in a house full of people- espically kids. A seprate area that combines pantry storage and a microwave keeps the main kitchen area free of snackers, so the cook can actually cook.
